Surveillance Demo

Demo Instructions:

1. Click this link to open a new window with the demo: camera.ptncomputers.com

2. Select "Mpeg4 Encoder Viewer" and click the "Submit" button.

If prompted, install the ActiveX control by clicking the ActiveX Security Toolbar and selecting "Install ActiveX Control".

Note: You may see this screen while trying to install the control.  This means you must make a security change in your Internet Explorer settings.  Click "Tools>Internet Options" from the Internet Explorer menu bar.  Next, click the "Security" tab.  Next, click the "Custom Level" button at the bottom of the window.  Under "Download Unsigned ActiveX Controls", select "Prompt".  Next, click "OK", then click "Yes" on the security warning message box.  Click the "OK" button one more time to save the changes and close the Internet Options window.

The software will now install itself onto your computer.

4. Select "DSL/CABLE/T-1" and "Multi View" and click the "Submit" button.

5. You will be prompted (as in instruction #3) to install another ActiveX control. This is the DMMultiView software which will allow you to view the camera.  It will start an installation wizard to complete the installation.  Please follow the instructions on the installation wizard.

6. You will be prompted for a User Name and Password.  They are both "user" (without the double-quotes of course)

7. Your computer may prompt you if it is blocking the software.  Please click "Unblock" to allow the software to function.

8. A new window (the multi view window) will open.

Choose "8 Division" on the bottom left of the screen. (shown highlighted in RED in above picture).

9. Double-click the video to view it at full screen.

10. To move the camera, click the PTZ icon as seen in the following screenshot:

9. The camera control will appear.  Click "ON" on the controller and start playing!
